The website says this meeting convenes immediately following the Public Hearing. We have been told they expect this 2nd meeting to begin at approximately 9:15 am.

Jefferson County Board of Commissioners Meeting

The opportunity to speak for up to 3 minutes is at the 8:00 Public Hearing. Everyone is welcome to just show up (visual evidence of support is important) or plan to speak, in-person or remotely (see instructions below). For this meeting, we encourage everyone who can be there, please try to attend and speak. Include in your comments the name of the community in which you live and how many residents are in your neighborhood. It can be a simple statement, genuinely expressed, prepared ahead, or extemporaneous. The overall message is that the development isn’t compatible with the neighborhoods and to voice support for the moratorium until the rules can be addressed during the comprehensive plan update. However, you could speak to sustainability, pollution, wildlife, traffic, or any one of the many issues that concern you most.

First floor, Board of County Commissioners Hearing Room at the county courthouse, 100 Jefferson Parkway. Free parking.

Unable to attend in person? Download the web-ex software and join online. Type in the chat box that you want to speak to and support the adoption of the moratorium.

Jefferson County Meeting

Jefferson county meeting to review canal documents.

orem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
